Our Story

Welcome to ACE Awnings! We are a company founded by Darren Marshall and Simon Worboys, who first met through their sons’ shared football team in Knebworth. With a strong friendship and a shared passion for the industry, they decided to form ACE Awnings to bring their expertise and experience to homeowners throughout Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex, and North London.

Simon Worboys, one of the founders, has over 33 years of experience in the industry, having been apprenticed as a fitter at a young age. He founded ACE Garage Doors in 1996 and has grown the company to serve the entire region. With the evolution of technology, Simon has kept pace and brings a high level of expertise to ACE Awnings.

Darren Marshall, the other founder, brings a wealth of experience from his background as the UK Construction Manager for a large Telecommunications company. He began his career in the city and learned valuable lessons about customer service and treating customers with respect. At ACE Awnings, Darren and the team pride themselves on their friendly and positive attitude, and their direct approach to working with clients. We have no salesmen or middlemen, so you can expect an upfront and transparent experience from the moment you get in touch with us.

Thank you for considering ACE Awnings for your home improvement needs. We look forward to working with you!
